Personal encounters occurring during the artist’s extensive international travel are the basis for this installation. German artist Dillbohner translated verbal concepts into visual forms for this installation. Sippwells refers to underground water storage in Australia where water is collected during the rainy season, thus suggesting the collection of dreams, meditation and memory. Materials of wax, earth, lead and mulberry paper are materials the artist has used exclusively for years. Catalogue, field notes by the artist.
