Shaping space with materials, processes, forms and context, Bruch employs a repetitive process to arrive at a form that marks the passage of time. Duty Cycle examines important aspects of the artist’s studio work: repetitive labor, the appearance of obsession, and distinct approach to materials. The primary element of the installation features a 17’ diameter “wheel” made entirely of paper that redefined the gallery space. Catalogue, essays by Sean Elwood and Randy Gragg.
